Behind the scenes, our research team has translated years of serious Australian property investment thinking into concrete answers you can act on. Grounded in evidence, not opinion — no guesswork, no commission-driven framing.
What it isn’t: a licensed financial advisor, a mortgage broker, a conveyancer, or a buyer’s agent. It’s the analyst you have in your corner before you call any of them — so the conversations you have with licensed professionals start from a higher baseline.
How we work.
We pull numbers from the places the numbers actually come from — the state land registries, the Census, the Bureau of Statistics, the Reserve Bank, the Bureau of Meteorology, the Revenue Office for each state. Every figure on every suburb report links to its source. Click a number and you see the record it came from.
When our checks return a range instead of a single number, we show you the range and explain the call we made. When a figure isn’t available for a suburb, we tell you why rather than guess. We don’t round up, we don’t smooth over thin samples, and we don’t hide the confidence interval.
How we make money.
Subscriptions. That’s it. Curious is free forever and covers every suburb report plus the 4-question brief. Paid plans unlock unlimited chat, the prediction ledger, portfolio tracking, and the buyer’s-agent workspace.
We don’t take broker commissions. We don’t run affiliate links on listings. We don’t sell your profile to agents or advisers. If that changes, we’ll tell you here first — with a date.
Data you control.
Everything we hold about you is visible to you — the goals you’ve set, the suburbs you’ve saved, the chat history, the predictions we’ve made on your context. Export it as JSON any time. Delete the account and every record with a seven-day grace window.
