How we notify
When a data-related incident affects you specifically, we contact you directly — by the email on your account — as soon as we’ve assessed scope and remedy. A public notice lands here at the same time so anyone watching can see it. If we can’t reach you directly for any reason, the notice here is the authoritative record.
Notices include what happened, what information was involved, what we’ve done about it, and what you can do — in plain language, no jargon, no hedging.
Serious data breaches are also reported to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
